Hello and welcome to the Happy House.

I'm an Illustrator and graphic/web designer originally from the San Francisco Bay Area (Northern California). In September 2009 I relocated to the UK to develop my skills further through an illustration MA program with Nottingham Trent University.

Over the past 9 years I have worked as a freelance web designer - a service I still offer. During my MA experience I became increasingly interested in using illustrations for narrative-based media. Film and animation production are 2 areas I'm looking to gain more experience in, as both have been passions of mine starting at a very young age.

Current trends in in technology, as well as my own geeky upbringing have influenced my style to combine both traditional techniques with digital. I hope to apply the skills I've learned to explore visual narratives further.
